Here’s an excerpt from Kyle’s old online dating profile:

I like to travel and have been practically everywhere. I like going off the beaten path. I’m no all-inclusive type guy.

He proceeded by listing a number of activities that he liked. The list went from being interesting enough to becoming far too long.

He continued with a few more sentences about various sports that he likes, then added:

Peru was my favorite place. The culture was so different. I also really liked Norway. I took all kinds of pictures and would love to share them over coffee with you.

AFTER

From his dating profile, Kyle sounds like hundreds of other singles dating online who love to travel and who could “bore” someone with endless photos. As noted, he also listed so many activities he appeared to be “over-selling” himself.

Once Kyle filled out the free personality quiz, I learned more and probed even further. In the end, I discovered he’s a risk-taker and open to new experiences. I also discovered that he’s highly artistic and a competitive dancer. He’s so full of interesting contrasts!
